About Us
Badgerwatch Ireland was set up nearly 30 years ago.
The Group is volunteer based, working to promote the conservation, protection, welfare and better understanding of badgers.
We work in partnership with other Irish wildlife organisations and are a member of PAW Ireland, the Partnership for Action against Wildlife Crime.
Our work covers a range of activities to protect badgers involving:
• Protection and Reporting of Badger persecution
• Highlighing Badger welface in planning matters
• Help with unwanted Badger visitors
• Campaign against the Badger cull
• Advice on Bagerwatching
